The six-month intensive certificate in intelligence is designed for individuals who are prepared to start and pursue a career in intelligence. The growing number of traditional and non-traditional threats such as terrorism, international crime, pandemics, natural disasters, climate change, food security and competition for natural resources has made intelligence an increasingly important aspect of security to governments, businesses, and non-governmental organizations. The course is assessed through rigorous assignments and a sit-in examination at the end of the six months. Specifically, the course prepares learners for an intelligence career in central government, the military, the police, and cognate services (such as the National Crime Agency, Border Force and HM Prison Service), the private security sector (including political risk), NGOs, the UN or other international organisations, then a course in intelligence will lead you there.
